GENERALSCOPE OF PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE MV SWITCHGEARS Busbar and Switchgear Compartment a. Visual check of bushing, busbar connection and switchgear enclosure b. Re-tightening jointing of busbar c. Clean switchgear enclosure and busbar d. Insulation resistance test ( Meger test) of busbar Cable Connection or Fuse Compartment a. Visual check of cable connection, isolator, CT/ VT, fuse and earthing switch b. Check of heater operation c. Re-tightening connection of cable, CT and earthing switch d. Clean all of equipment and enclosure of compartment e. Mechanical grease for moving parts f. Mechanical close-open test of earthing switch contact Operating Mechanism and Control Cabinet a. Visual check of disconnecting switch ( DS) , load break switch ( LBS) and earthing switch mechanical operation b. Visual check of control cabinet c. Clean all of mechanical compartments d. Mechanical greasing for moving parts e. Mechanical operation test of DS, LBS and earthing switch f. Operation test from control cabinet Low Voltage Compartment a. Visual check of metering, relay protection and control b. Clean of LV Compartments Circuit Breaker a. Check of contact finger and bushing b. Mechanical grease for mechanical operation parts c. Electrical grease for contact finger d. Mechanical close-open and withdrawing test of circuit breaker e. Insulation resistance test of circuit breaker Relay Protection a. Backup the setting of relay protection b. Relay protective test within secondary current injection c. Test trip with circuit breaker
